BBQ Team information & Application

Join us the weekend of September 8-10, 2023, and be a part of the ANNUAL FORKS OF THE BUFFALO BBQ THROWDOWN! Featuring some of the best BBQ cook teams from across the country as well as right here in West Virginia, this event will be held at the beautiful and historical Mannington District Fair Ground in Mannington, WV. As one of four Kansas City BBQ Society sanctioned BBQ competitions in the state, by proclamation of the Governor of WV, our event serves as a WV State BBQ Championship giving the Grand Champion a chance to represent WV at the prestigious Jack Daniels Worldwide Invitation BBQ cook off, and an entry to the American Royal BBQ Competition.
